BirdieCare planning & digital records
Organised digital care planning, visit notes and continuity of information, so everyone supporting a person is working from the same picture.
Why Luxuricare
Every benefit on this page is something you can check. No invented claims, no hidden charges — just what we do and how it works.
Benefit 1
What happens. One of our team visits you at home — usually for around 45 minutes to an hour — to understand the situation properly. We talk through what support would help, what the person receiving care wants, and what the family needs. There is no form to fill in beforehand and no pressure to decide anything during the visit.
What families can discuss. Anything. Personal care, medication, mobility, mealtimes, company, overnight worries, what a typical day looks like, what a difficult day looks like. We also talk about the practical side: visit times, costs, how care could start and how it could be adjusted.
Who conducts it. The assessment is carried out by a senior member of the team — not a salesperson. The person who comes is involved in care planning, so what they write down is what actually happens at the visits.
Why it is free. Because charging someone to find out whether you can help them is not how trust starts. The assessment is genuinely no-obligation: if we are not the right fit, we will say so, and we will try to point you somewhere better.
What happens afterwards. We put together a care plan based on what we discussed, and we send you a clear summary of what visits we would recommend and what they would cost. You take as long as you need to decide. If you want to go ahead, we arrange a start date; if you do not, that is fine.

Benefit 2
What it is. As well as the assessment, we offer a free 30-minute care call. That is a real visit — a carer arrives, spends 30 minutes with the person receiving care, and does whatever would genuinely help in that time. It might be a cup of tea and a chat, help getting up and dressed, or a short walk.
Why we offer it. Because a care plan on paper is one thing and the reality of a stranger arriving at your door is another. The free call lets the person receiving care experience what our visits are actually like — the pace, the manner, the feeling of it — before committing to anything.
How it helps. For a lot of families, the hardest part is the first visit. Someone who has never had care before is understandably nervous. The free call takes the pressure off that first time: there is nothing to lose, and if it does not feel right, nothing has been paid for.

Benefit 3
Luxuricare does not charge a setup fee. There is no admin charge, no joining fee, no "initial assessment fee" and no charge for drawing up the care plan. The cost of setting up your care is ours to absorb, not yours.
The only thing you pay for is the care you receive — at the published visit rates, from the first visit onwards. We think that is how it should be. Charging someone to become your customer is not a good start to a relationship built on trust.
What this means in practice: when care starts, your first invoice covers the visits that have been delivered. Nothing before that, and nothing on top of it.
Benefit 4
How it works. During your first 7 days you can cancel straight away — there is no notice to serve and nothing to negotiate. You pay only for the care that has already been delivered. After those first 7 days, the normal 2-week notice period set out in your care agreement applies.
What this means in practice. If you start care on a Monday and by Wednesday it is not working — the carer does not click, the timing is wrong, or you have simply changed your mind — you can cancel straight away. You pay for the visits that were delivered on Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday, and nothing else.
After the first 7 days. After the first 7 days, the standard 2-week notice period in your agreement applies.
Choosing a care company should not feel like signing something you cannot get out of. The cooling-off period is there so you can try us with confidence.

Benefit 5
What we aim for. We aim to provide regular carers and organise clients into consistent rounds. We build familiar care teams around each client and reduce unnecessary changes wherever operationally possible.
What we do not promise. We do not promise the identical carer at every single visit. People take leave, get ill, and move on — and any agency claiming otherwise is overpromising. What we can do is keep rounds tight and local, build relationships between carers and clients, and avoid rotating strangers through someone's home.
Why it matters. For a lot of the people we support — particularly those living with dementia — a familiar face is not a nice-to-have. It is the difference between a visit that goes well and one that does not. That is why we plan for it deliberately rather than hoping it happens by accident.
How we do it. By keeping our rounds geographically tight, so the same carer is in the same area on the same days. The shorter the distance between visits, the more realistic it is to send the same person back.

Benefit 6
Every visit rate is on this website. You can see what care costs before you pick up the phone. No "contact us for a quote" on the services that have a standard rate — the price is there, and it is the same on the invoice as it is on the website.
Why transparency matters. Arranging care is stressful enough without not knowing what it costs. Most people we speak to are working out whether care is affordable at all, and they need real numbers to do that — not a conversation with a salesperson before the first figure appears.
What is published. Our visit rates for 30, 45 and 60-minute care calls: £20, £27 and £31.50 per visit. There is no setup fee, no assessment fee, no mileage charge, and no premium for a service with a more serious-sounding name. Live-in and overnight care are quoted as tailored packages, because what they involve differs enormously — and we say so plainly rather than inventing a headline figure.
You can work out roughly what a week costs using the calculator further down this page, without speaking to anyone.
Benefit 7
What registration means. Luxuricare Ltd is registered with the Care Quality Commission for the regulated activity of personal care. That means we are legally permitted to provide this service, we are subject to CQC inspection, and we are accountable to the regulator for how we run it.
What it does not mean. The CQC has not yet inspected our service, so there is no published rating. We say this plainly rather than dressing it up, because implying a rating that does not exist would be dishonest — and for a CQC-registered provider, it would be a regulatory problem, not just a marketing one.
What you can check. Our registration is on the public CQC register under location ID 1-27095662090. You can look it up yourself — the link is on our CQC information page.

Benefit 8
The three platforms behind everything we do — care planning, policies and learning.

Organised digital care planning, visit notes and continuity of information, so everyone supporting a person is working from the same picture.

Structured policies and procedures that support professional standards across everything we do.

Ongoing e-learning and staff development, so our team keeps building on what they know.
Care planning and digital records. Care plans, visit notes and continuity of information live here, so everyone supporting a person is working from the same picture. Families can be given access to see which carer is attending, visit times and notes.
Policies and compliance. Our policies and procedures are structured through QCS — Quality Compliance Systems — so that professional standards are built into everything we do, not left to individual judgement.
Staff e-learning and development. Ongoing training runs through Lumis, so our team keeps building on what they know — not a one-off induction that is never revisited, but continuous development.
What it costs
Build the pattern of visits you are actually thinking about and see what it comes to — before speaking to anybody.
Estimated care cost
Estimated weekly cost
£140/week
1 visit a day · 0.5 hours of care a day · 7 days a week
Monthly figure is an average: weekly × 52 ÷ 12. Yearly is 52 weeks.
An estimate built from our published visit rates. Your final cost is confirmed after your free care assessment and agreed care plan. Live-in and overnight care are not included here because both are quoted as tailored packages rather than a published rate.

LUXURICARE LTD was incorporated in 2024 and the CQC has registered us but has not yet inspected us. That means there is no published rating for our service, and no inspection report you can read before deciding. We are not going to dress that up.
What we would say is this: everything else on this page is checkable today. The prices are published. The company number is on the public register. The registration is on the CQC's website with our location ID on it. Judge us on the things you can verify, and on the free assessment — not on adjectives.
No fee, no obligation and no pressure. If we are not the right fit, we will tell you — and we will try to point you somewhere better.
